Hi! I'm Kennidy Adams

At 18, I was fresh out of berwick high school, and ready to start college. The summer before college started, i was babysitting for a super awesome family, who owned a wedding photography business called Brocato Photography, and I already had 2 other jobs lined up to start that August (talk about the ultimate side hustler!) Two weeks before starting my freshmen year at nicholls state university, that family I was babysitting for asked me to edit their photos part time, and I couldn’t pass it up. The experience I would gain would be life changing, and so it did. Three months later, I bought a camera body, lens, and a flash. It was around christmas time that I got my camera, so you can imagine all of the pictures of ornaments, and Christmas trees I took trying to learn my camera. Not long after I started taking family pictures, and training with the photographers who took me in as a second shooter. I trained, studied, and repeated for the longest time. Reading books from famous photographers, and trying to grasp every bit of experience I could.

Flash forward to almost 2 years later, I never dreamed how amazing life could be. I’ve come so far in my life personally and in business. I’m now a lead photographer for Brocato Photography (trust me, this is a HUGE accomplishment), and a Junior in Accounting at Nicholls State University.

Buying all of my camera equipment (with no clue on how to use it), joining an amazing photography team, then buying a house, and still kicking butt at school. 

Right now, I may not be exactly where i want, but I definitely know that I’ll never stop working to get there. I’m just a small town girl making a change in the world one day at a time
